BAPTISM:
Baptisms are held the second Sunday of the month, during or after the 10:30 Mass. To baptize your child, please contact Chris Brown at the parish office or email holyangelscatholicformation@gmail.com, at least 3 months prior to the baptism date. If this is your first child, a baptism prep class will be required. Forms can be found on our website. We also require that godparents submit the Godparent Eligibility or Christian Witness form, stating that they are members in good standing, meaning they attend Mass regularly and are living a sacramental life.
* Adults desiring to be baptized should refer to the information regarding the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
EUCHARIST:
Children ordinarily receive First Holy Communion during the spring of their second grade year. Preparation begins in the fall, with registration taking place in August.
* Adults whohave not yet received their First Holy Communion should refer to the information for RCIA.
CONFIRMATION:
The sacrament of Conformation is held at Holy Angels in the spring of even number years (every 2 years)for youth in 7th and 8th grade. Preparation for the sacrament begins in the fall, with registration in August.
* Adults desiring to be confirmed should refer to the information regarding RCIA.
RECONCILIATION:
Saturdays from 3:45 PM-4:15 PM, or by appointment.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK:
Contact the pastor or the parish office to make arrangements to receive the Anointing of the sick. In the case of an emergency outside of office hours, call the rectory at (913) 724-3122.
HOLY MATRIMONY:
Couples who believe they are called to the Sacrament of Matrimony should ontact the parish office at least 9 months prior to the desired wedding date to schedule an initial meeting with Chris Brown. After this meeting, the first meeting with the pastor will be scheduled. At least one person of the couple must be a member of Holy Angels Parish.
